Who we are
Fulcrum Enterprises s.r.o., Prague, Czech Republic, is the controller of your application data. Contact us about it at careers@fulcrum-enterprises.com.
What we collect
What you give us: your name, email address and country, the role and channels you're interested in, links and files with your work, what you tell us about yourself, and where you heard about us. If you email us instead, we keep your email and its attachments.
Why, and on what basis
We use it to assess your application and contact you about it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in recruiting the right people (Article 6(1)(f)). If you tick the talent pool box, we keep your application for future roles on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Software-assisted sorting
We use AI software to read applications and summarise and score them so we can review them faster. It does not make decisions: a person reviews applications and makes every decision about who we contact, trial or hire. You can ask for any part of the assessment to be reviewed again by a person.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores applications. Anthropic provides the AI software that reads them. Both act on our instructions. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
If you are not hired, we delete your application 12 months after we close it, or 12 months after we last heard from you if it is never formally closed. If you join the talent pool, we keep it for two years from your consent, or less if you ask us to delete it. If you work with us, the relevant details become part of our working records.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or for a copy in a portable form. Email careers@fulcrum-enterprises.com. You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
